On 12/9/2023, at approximately 6:06 am, Thousand Oaks Patrol Deputies responded to a hit and run accident in the area of Janss Road and Windsor Drive. When deputies arrived on scene, a male subject, later identified as Robert Paul Quiroz Jr, was located unresponsive on the north sidewalk of the intersection of Janss Road and Windsor Drive. Ventura County Fire and medical professionals responded and attempted life saving measures. Unfortunately, Quiroz did not survive his injuries.
