On 05/29/2024, deputies from the Ojai Patrol Station responded to the 300 block of E. Ojai Avenue regarding subjects fighting and one having a baseball bat. Upon their arrival, deputies learned that a verbal confrontation between the victims and suspect escalated into a physical fight. [S] Reef Matte had assaulted one male adult victim and one female adult victim with the bat.
