On May 17, 2024, at approximately 8:37 a.m., deputies from the Camarillo Patrol Station responded to a carjacking incident at the In-N-Out Burger located on Ventura Boulevard. The suspect, identified as Ismael Arellano, approached an adult female victim under the pretense of needing to use her phone. Subsequently, the suspect used force to take the victim’s vehicle keys and drove off with the stolen vehicle.
