On 7/30/2024, members of the Camarillo Police Community Resources Unit, Camarillo City Code Enforcement and Ventura County Public Health conducted tobacco decoy stings, using underage decoys, to purchase tobacco products at retail establishments in the city of Camarillo. The goal of the operation is to limit underage access to tobacco products and confirm businesses are operating within the law.
