On 08/26/2024, at approximately 1626 hours, deputies responded to the area of Olsen Road, just west of Hardy Lane reference an injury traffic collision. Upon arrival, it was determined a vehicle rear-ended another vehicle at a high rate of speed in the number one lane. After the collision, the vehicle continued onto the center median and collided with a tree. After hitting the tree, the vehicle spun back onto the roadway, where it came to rest. The other vehicle was pushed forward after the impact and was located over 500 feet down the roadway to the west.
