The Thousand Oaks Police Department, Community Resources Unit, is pleased to announce the completion of Citizen’s Academy Class 39. Nineteen participants completed a twelve-week course designed to give citizens an overview of the police department’s function and operational procedures. The goal is to educate the public on day-to-day operations of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office and learn how resources are deployed.
