During the late weeks of February 2025, detectives assigned to the Camarillo Special Enforcement Unit (SEU) received information regarding an assault with a deadly weapon in violation of California Penal Code Section 245(a)(2) – [Assault with a Deadly Weapon] that had occurred within the City of Camarillo. Camarillo SEU Detectives initiated an investigation and it was discovered the weapon used during the aforementioned crime was an assault weapon in violation of PC 30605(a) – [Possession of an Assault Weapon]. During the investigation, Camarillo SEU Detectives identified City of Camarillo resident, (S) Jaqueline Randall as the suspect.
