Thousand Oaks – Identity Theft Arrest

On 5/4/22, the victim was working as a clerk at a local 7-Eleven convenience store.  A patron in the store, later identified as Victor Franco, walked into a restricted area for employees only and stole the victim’s wallet.  Franco fraudulently used the victim’s debit card in Agoura and at a gas station in Thousand Oaks.  Deputies from the Thousand Oaks Police Station responded to the gas station and watched video surveillance.  The deputies identified the suspect as Franco, who they knew from multiple law enforcement contacts.  The deputies contacted Franco at his encampment in Thousand Oaks and arrested him for identity theft.   For further details please click the following link: https://local.nixle.com/alert/9424807/
