On August 2nd, 2023, members of the Camarillo Directed Enforcement Unit (DEU) were patrolling the area of the Camarillo Premium Outlets. During their patrol, DEU members were notified of a theft in progress at one of the stores by private security personnel. DEU established a perimeter and contacted the four unidentified suspects as they exited the store. All four subjects were detained for further investigation.
