If you would like to submit a commendation for exceptional service provided by a Sheriff’s Office employee, please fill out the attached form and email it to Sheriff.Commendations@ventura.org or mail to the address listed on the form.

Citizen Complaint
If you have a complaint against a Ventura County Sheriff’s Office employee, you have the ability to file a complaint form either in person, or by mail. Complaint forms are also available at our Headquarters (800 South Victoria Avenue), Camarillo, Fillmore, Moorpark, Ojai, and Thousand Oaks stations.
After opening the form, print it out using your printer. This file includes instructions on how to complete the form, where to mail it, and an overview of the process. Complaint forms may also be emailed to: Internal.affairs@ventura.org.
