The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce that Captain Nick Odenath has been selected by the City of Moorpark to become its next chief of police. Captain Odenath was chosen to replace Captain Darin Hendren due to his upcoming promotion to commander. Regarding Captain Odenath’s selection by the City of Moorpark, Sheriff Fryhoff said, “I’m confident Nick will continue the tradition of providing the residents of the city of Moorpark and the surrounding unincorporated areas with outstanding police services. Nick is a dedicated public servant, who brings a lot of experience to the position.”
