Ventura County – Award for FY22 Enhanced Collaborative Model Task Force to Combat Human Trafficking

In October 2022 the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office was awarded with the FY22 Enhanced Collaborative Model Task Force to Combat Human Trafficking in the amount of $750,000.00. What assisted in the winning of this award was the sustainability plan established in the last three years of a county wide task force to combat human trafficking with an emphasis on victim-centered and trauma informed investigations and resource opportunities for victims of human trafficking.
